IT WAS hardly a revelation for trainer Mick Price that the only two-year-old to debut and win seven days before winning the Blue Diamond Stakes was Redoute€™s Choice in 1999. €˜€˜You know what they say about lightning,€™€™ he offered.Tomorrow at Moonee Valley, Price saddles debutant Echoes Of Heaven, a half-brother to Redoute€™s Choice, in the opening race and if the colt was to win, he may be set the task of emulating his famous sibling in Victoria€™s richest juvenile race the following week.€˜€˜We€™ve got our eyes on the Sires€™ Produce [Stakes] with him, but we€™re not ruling out backing him up into next week€™s Blue Diamond,€™€™ Price said.€˜€˜He€™s a quality colt, a long-striding colt who I really do like . . . he€™s certainly the type of horse that you would run in a Cox Plate next spring as a three-year-old.€™€™Price was given the colt, who is a brother to Manhattan Rain, by breeder-owner Muzaffar Yassen, who owns the dam Shantha€™s Choice.Eight of the 11 runners in tomorrow€™s Inglis Premier Plate are among the 51 horses that remain in next Saturday€™s Blue Diamond Stakes.
